Prerequisites for all training:

Must have attended the WIC Basic Training and the MOWINS Training.

Course Description:

This training is a combination of e-Learning modules and interactive training delivered in Jefferson City. This training covers the various functions of the WIC Coordinator, including program planning, development, evaluation and administration. Maintenance of a local food delivery system, as well as the financial management system is also addressed.

E-Learning modules to complete prior to the interactive training in Jefferson City:
Introduction (7 minutes)
Staff Roles (19 minutes)
Local Agency Contract/Local Agency Plan (15 minutes)
Inventory Systems (8 minutes)
Marketing and Outreach (18 minutes)
Contract Monitoring (15 minutes)
Breastfeeding Promotion and Support (23 minutes)

Complete training registration and fax to 573-522-6501 to the trainer indicated on the registration form.
