Interpretative Services (Over the Telephone)
The newstatewide contractor for over the telephone foreign language interpretation is Language Select effective May 1, 2010.  Local WIC providers (Local Public Health Department) can utilize the statewide contract for Over the Telephone Foreign Language Interpretation. Charges for language interpretation are allowable expenses under your Local WIC Provider contract. Additional questions and/or clarifications shall be directed to your district Health Program Representative.

How to Know Your Baby is Getting Enough DHSS catalog #568
This handout provides information on infant tummy size and appropriate number of wet/dirty diapers for a breastfed baby. A log for tracking the number of wet and dirty diapers the baby has each day for the first week postpartum is on the back.

Missouri Tobacco Quitline Card The card is designed to be given to pregnant women who smoke.  When a pregnant woman enrolls in the Tobacco Quitline Program, the following services are available (at no cost to the caller).


  1. Free Quit Kit
  2. Initial Counseling (10-15 minutes)
  3. A password to access the InternetNo-Cost Web coach
  4. Up to four follow-up Telephone-Counseling Sessions.
  5. May be eligible for Nicotine Gum with a physician’s approval. (Discontinued February, 2011)
