MOWINS Trainings

Check out our WIC Training Portal. This is a one-stop-shop for all your training needs. The MOWINS trainings are listed under the LWP Staff, then click New Employee Trainings, then click the e-Learning Trainings and the MOWINS Sessions are listed there. These Sessions are required for new employees but the MOWINS Security Trainings are required annually by all staff. There is also training on completing the Mid-Certification located here.

MOWINS Hot Topics

MOWINS Hot Topics is a live webinar and conference call with WIC Help Desk staff regarding a specific issue or process in MOWINS that can be improved with additional clarification and guidance.  MOWINS Hot Topics sessions are open to all LWP staff, but space is limited, and registration is required.  Please be aware that multiple staff members in an agency can participate, but should complete only one registration and participate using only one phone line.  Once a registration is completed a confirmation will be sent within 48 business hours providing additional details.  Please note a computer with a network connection is necessary to participate.  Below are the dates and topics for the upcoming MOWINS Hot Topic sessions and the link to register can be accessed here.

Maintenance

The next MOWINS full release is scheduled for the weekend of August 1-2, 2015. More detailed information will be sent out at a later date including information about training. MOWINS will be shut down and unavailable for clinic operations from 8pm on Friday, 7/31 through 6am on Monday, 8/3. Please do not schedule any clinics for Saturday, 8/1. Please call the WIC Help Desk at (800) 554-2544 if you have any questions.
