Missouri Arthritis Advisory Board
The Missouri Arthritis Advisory Board (MAAB) advises and assists the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Missouri Arthritis and Osteoporosis Program in developing and implementing programs, to partner and to provide education and community-based services for people with arthritis and related conditions, and to reduce the disability of rheumatic disease and improve quality of life.

MAOP Mission
The Missouri Arthritis Advisory Board approved the following mission for the Missouri Arthritis and Osteoporosis Program at the June 8, 2001 Annual Meeting. The condensed version of this mission is “Reduce Disability and Improve Quality of Life”.
Partner with Regional Arthritis Centers and other partners to provide education and community-based services for people with arthritis and related conditions to reduce the disability of rheumatic disease and improve quality of life.
