The cancer MICA provides cancer incidence data for Missouri residents. The user can select one of the three options listed below to create tables of cancer incidence by year, age, sex, race, cancer site, stage, grade, and geographic area (with some restrictions to protect confidentiality). This MICA is intended for researchers and local health agencies, as well as the general public.

Population estimates since the last Census have been revised to be in line with the most recently released estimates from the Census Bureau. Rates obtained from this site prior to this update will be different from the current rates as a result of this change to the population estimates.

To create a table, select from the following options:

• State, BRFSS Region and/or County MICA for seven (7) major sites and all sites combined.
  Data for four (4) three-year periods (1997-1999; 2000-2002; 2003-2005; and 2006-2008) and for all twelve (12) years (1997-2008) are available. Age, race and grade variables are not available.
• State and/or BRFSS Region MICA for seven (7) major sites and all sites combined.
  Data are available for 1996 through 2008. Tables can be produced by age, race and grade.
• State and/or BRFSS Region MICA for nineteen (19) major cancer sites and all sites combined.
  Users can drill down from most of the 19 major sites to more specific sites. Data are available for 1996 through 2008. Tables can be produced by age, race and grade.
