Women Veterans Health Care – Girls’ Night Out

May 12, 2014

As you know, women Veterans live in every community in our country, with many of them returning home to rural areas after their military service. Many are unaware of the resources available to them through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs: benefits they have earned through their service to our Nation and what is available within the community.

To help support the women Veterans in OUR community, you are cordially invited to a special outreach event that will allow you to educate female Veterans about services that you provide and allow female Veterans to gain valuable information about what is available in their community. We look forward to collaboration and networking with you.

The Girls Night Out event will feature:

  • Friends and Family CPR training
  • Wellness Fair (VA and Community information booths)
  • Presentations: VA Women’s Health Services, Osteoporosis, and Preventing Injury.
  • Networking, laughter, and fun! *Women Veterans within the area will be invited to attend and bring a friend (Veteran or not).

Light refreshments will be served.

*Attached is the event flyer please feel free to post it or hand it out.
