Missouri Regional Extension Center Partners with The HIT Community

The Missouri Regional Extension Center Partners with The HIT Community to Engage, Inform and Thrive in the Age of Online Healthcare Collaboration

The HIT Community (HITC) provides information and support for the millions of professionals in the healthcare workforce responding to critical business changes in healthcare through a knowledge network of public and private online communities and collaborative workgroups. HITC delivers the relevant, practical and actionable information providers need to succeed in the evolving healthcare industry.

The Missouri Regional Extension Center (MOHIT) has partnered with The HIT Community to provide a Missouri-based online community to support our providers  as they implement electronic health record (EHR) systems, attest and achieve Meaningful Use, and begin to use data to improve patient care, quality, and outcomes.

How Can MOHIT Community Help Your Practice Achieve its Goals?
We know you already have enough work to do. The MOHIT Community gives you informa- tion and collaboration tools for your entire team in one, interactive place. Learn together and connect with others in an online portal that has been created to support our REC members. Features include:

  • Online collaboration group for participants that includes presentation materials, discussions, and ongoing Q&A
  • Access and connections to your Missouri peers and experts
  • Learning based events and webinars information
  • Nationwide information, case studies, and vendor details

Become Part of the MOHIT Group
Your Regional Extension team is looking for ten participants to become a part of the MOHIT Group who have already implemented an EHR system.  Share your success, access and read questions from participants in the throws of decision making and changes, and help others achieve success in Missouri.
