FORHP is pleased to announce that the Black Lung Center of Excellence (BLCE) and Black Lung Clinics Program (BLCP) funding opportunity announcements (FOA) are now available on grants.gov. Through the BLCP, public, private, and state entities provide medical, outreach, educational, and benefits counseling services to active, inactive, and disabled coal miners throughout the country with the goal of reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with occupationally-related coal mine dust lung disease. The BLCE cooperative agreement recipient will work with HRSA to help strengthen the operations of BLCP awardees, including through improved data collection and analysis.
